    Discharged and closed today!

I just checked Pacer a little while ago and see that my discharge that was due 10/3 was posted yesterday, the government objection to claim and my case were terminated today and my case is showing as closed now. I'm so excited now and glad I checked again after getting that $33.20 bill for Pacer in my e-mail yesterday.

I hope everyone else is doing well, I've been busy for a while so I haven't been frequenting any of the BK forums, though I plan on dropping in more often again as my schedule is slowing down.

Thanks! Too bad I don't have something good to celebrate with tonight.

I made a huge mistake on Pacer one night during that ran up this first bill. I usually use the login where there are no fields to search attorneys, etc. One night I logged in the other way (CM/ECF I think) and searched my attorney's name which cost a bit for the listing of those cases, though I did learn my attorney himself had filed chapter 7 with his wife a few years ago. The one that really bit me was searching on the trustee. VERY busy trustee and there were so many results that my browser choked so it was a complete waste of money then. Live and learn I guess.

I look at the criminal cases too because of work. I must admit I looked up other people I knew had filed and was curious, plus it helped to know what to look for as well as different districts and states have very different formats. One I looked at (about 3 yrs old) looked like the forms were scanned in the computer. Looking at Pacer kept me occupied and kept me from stressing as much.
