Can I be sued during BK7

I have filed a BK7 petition and I just recieved a summons from a law firm representing one of my creditors, Is this typical? I have 21 days to respond what do I need to do? Can I still be sued even though I filed a bankruptcy petition? Any information on what I can expect will be appreciated

There is an automatic stay of any procedigs to collect on a debt once you file bankruptcy. have your attorney send the creditor's attorney and the court a Notice of Bankruptcy and the schedule listing the creditor. Send it to the court as well. By the way, make sure this creditor is listed. If not, you'll have to add them.
