341 date set and a question

New to the forum but so glad to find this wealth of information!
We are moving shortly after our 341 ( a little over a month), and because of the distance of the move we are getting rid of 90% of our belongings. Our attorney has advised us to not sell anything before the 341 mtg. and to wait a couple of weeks after before we have any yard sales, craigslist, etc. Should I be worried about having cash come in for selling my car and household belongings. We are looking at under 5,000 total when it's all done.

Since your lawyer said it won't be a problem as long as you wait several weeks after your 341 meeting to sell anything and he/she is familiar with how your trustee handles these things, I would trust what your lawyer told you and follow his/her advice to the letter.
