Form B8 .. CHAPTER 7 INDIVIDUAL DEBTOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENTION
it's asking for me to either voluntarily chose to repay the debt in writing, or surrender any personal property .... wtf? all my debts are junk like medical bills, a few credit cards, but it wasn't like a shopping spree on them, the high balances are mostly fees and finace charges... here is the exact wording that the book that came with the forms said
"Chapter 7 Individual Debtor's Statement of Intention: This applies only to chapter 7 cases filed by individuals, whether engaged in business or not. In part 2b of this form, please note the following definitions:
+524 c states that even though a debt has been discharged, the debtor voluntarily chooses to repay that debt. This agreement must be in writing and filed with the court.
+722 deals with avoiding liens through redemption. The debtor is allowed to redeem or regain possession of any tangible personal property that is intended primarily for household, family or personal use if that property is claimed as exempt under 522 or has been abandoned by the trustee. The property may be redeemed by paying the lienholder the amount of the secured claim.
since i have no property that is securing these debts, does this not apply to me? Someone please help!!! we're filing in the a.m.
