The attorney said all we need to do is sign and bingo, well it's getting to the last minute and no paperwork. If it doesn't come Wednesday, I may have to drive it to him. I mean what does he care, I haven't a pot to piss in and he's taking his time.

Have you seen your paper work yet and have you signed it. What are you waiting on or what is the lawyer waiting. Did you pay him? What arrangements have you made with him? Have you called him? -
He's paid and I just need to sign. He said it would be here and to sign and overnight back to him.Comment

When were you supposed to have the paperwork?
You still have until the 16th to sign as they file electronically.
Have you tried calling him?
Worst case scenario as you stated drive to his office if he doesn't answer or return calls.Comment

Our lawyers firm guidelines are:
~type the petition up
~mail it to you
~we look it over and sign it
~mail it back
~then they file it on our behalf
HOWEVER they were NOT going to take the chance with the lovely US Postal service, and all the last min filers, and the upcomming deadline and had us come to the office and sign the papers...it was over an hour drive for us, but it was WELL worth the stress, and worrying....if/when it was comming in the mail. This happened back at the end of Sept!! I would get in contact with your lawyer!
