We included our house in bk. It is in the foreclosure process as we speak. We found a brand new house on land contract and moved out. Our lawyer told us not to worry about the insurance or anything. Do we need to mow the lawn and stuff like that, or is it basically the banks? We haven't been kicked out yet, but moved.

That house is still yours and in your name. You are responsible for it. You should keep insurance on it until it goes out of your name, or if your lawyer writes some sort of official paper that they will honor (did I say, I wasn't a lawyer?).

Well, I have her response on e-mail that we did not have to worry about insurance. And as vandals I really don't care, and it's highly unlikely where it is. They sent me the letter giving sheriffs permission to sell it, so I say it isn't my problem anymore?Comment
