    Potentially sticky situation...need help ASAP

    Hi All,

I've got a dilemma on my hands. My pre July 1 2005 student loan consolidation has not been processed. I called the private lender of the largest of my loans on 10/12 and asked them to rush a fax of the loan info to the reciever of the consolidated loans (also a private lender). This was done and the reciever called to let me know they would process the paperwork this Friday. The problem is that I had to go and file TODAY -10/12, which I did. I put both lenders on my Matrix so the lender who;s loosing my business is going to get notified. Am I going to be in legal hot water if i dont call the consolidating lender to tell them that I filed Chapter 7? Is it possible that the paperwork will still go through even though my case is now filed? Can the loosing lender file a lawsight against me over this?

    TIA for any help,

    Karen

I don't really know what to say. Its hard to know what the lender's qualifications are.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
