I owe $2500 on the thing. I dunno ... should I file it under statement of intent as "I intend to filch out and keep it," or should I "intend to continue paying it off?"

It depends.....how much is it worth? Does it need work? is it worth keeping? We were really upside down with our van, so we gave it up. It needed so much work also.

If you need the vehicle & can handle the payment, keep making payments. Mark that you plan to retain it. If you can do without it, or it really isn't worth it, surrender it. You have to determine what you need/want.Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research.
