    car loan

I have a car secured by a loan that I am not listing as a debt. it is under the expense allowed. My question is will they send a letter to the title holder stating that I am declaring bankruptcy. This is someone I work with and I would rather my business not be known.

Most likely, you're going to have problems w/ not listing the creditor. All debts/creditors are supposed to be listed and you can't very well have a car payment in your monthly expenses if you don't have a car loan as an account. About the only exception would be if you were making payments yet your car (& loan) were in someone else's name. If that were the case, you would probably have to produce proof that you are making the payments.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
