    Converting to chp 7 from 13 need some help...

    Hello I decided to convert our case and give up the house that seems to be going under each month... We were 7 months into a chp 13 and decided to convert now I guess we have to go to another 341 meeting???

    Are the 341 meetings for chp 7 any different? Aug 3rd is our new date any info would be great!
    Converted to Chp 7 in July 341 AUG 3rd Went well!!!
    Trustee Paid Off Looking At Discharge!!! Might Be A Good After all!
    Discharge Date 10/02/09 Counting the days down

    Yes you have another 341.

    Not been to a Ch 13 341 but I assume similar.

    The trustee will ask the basic question, maybe a few questions about the conversion. Then you'll be done with that part and start waiting for the discharge
    May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
    July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
    September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

        We converted from a 13 to a 7. Our Ch 7 341 was actually much quicker and faster than our 13.
        4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
        5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
        7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!
        7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!
