    Can 60 Days Be Extended?

I am a few weeks away from the 60 days being over. My question is, can the court extend the 60 days?? It is getting very frustrating waiting for this process to be over and I don't want to go through this anymore. Also, has anyone who filed beginning of Oct. get their discharge yet?

Sure, the US trustee can keep your case open indefinately. However unless they find assets or income you didn't claim, and you filed under reasonable circumstances, you will most likely be discharged.

It's a possibility and it's often done at the last minute. My trustee filed a motion to extend for everyone who filed pro-se until we turn over our tax returns so it's dated until 08/06 and I filed 10/05...so my case is extended for 6 months at least. fun eh?

We filed on Sept 29th...our 60 days is up...however nothing on Pacer yet...this LIMBO has been the worse then any day during my 60 days wating.
The courts are busy, so we may have to wait a bit longer...so don't count on day 60 to be free and clear....it been day 64 for us and it sucks !!!

Good luck and hang in there!!!
