So my 60 day point was 12/27, but I can't officially get discharged until I do my taxes and send them to the trustee. My question is, do you think I'm safe from that 500 lb gorilla, i.e., the US Trustee? Since the case officially stays open, I was just wondering if he, too, is bound to the 60 day thing.

Your case should get discharged, just not closed. Follow w/ the court clerk in a week or 2 and ask about discharge.

Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's.
