Greetings all.
Okay, I'm post 341. Orginally, I was going to keep my car and reaffirm, but common sense set in and I quickly realized it was not the smartest $$$ move.
So, at the 341 the attorney was again told, and he told the trustee, that the car would be going back. I've sent an email to the attorney's office asking if I should contact the creditor or how the process works for returning the car. I'd much rather return it myself, it's not my property and it should go back. And yes, I'd rather know it went back by my own hand than wake up and find it gone. Should I just wait and see what happens, or contact the orginal creditor myself? I'm hoping my tax return gets here before it goes back, nonetheless, so I have down payment money for a new one. Not sure if it matters, but, I filed while living in Ohio and no longer live there.
Mucho thanks all! I'm loving this forum, btw...great folks to be found here.
