OK it has been the worst week of waiting in my life!! I was more patient when I was pregnant with my boys...LOL

Well I checked pacer this morning, and I called the office I know I know I should have waited, but I am spaz ...(nobody can quote me on that ...LOL) He said it has only been a week, you will heard something next week.

So I went out shopping, came home and was filing away my receipts, and for s**ts and giggles I logged on to Pacer.....I hit the status button...........

BAM

It says waiting closing!! I was what the heck? I am so used to it says waiting discharge..LOL I check the dockets and printed out my discharge papers!!!!!!


OK got to run and wake up hubby, and tell him the good news (he works third shift). Had to share with you guys first!

Hey quick question. I know they can hold open a case because they maybe waiting for your tax return. What if your trustee never asked about it? can he all of a sudden ask for it out of the blue?? also why would he discharge you and them ask for it?

Congrats! The guy you spoke to probably entered it, just didn't want to say so? Maybe they don't want the word to spread that they can do that!

Discharge and close have nothing to do with each other, really. Your debts are discharged. BUT-if assets were to be found, the $$ could be doled out to your creditors. Wouldn't change the fact that you are discharged, just that they would get some $ afterall. More than likely, though, the trustee won't revisit the case.
