Question about Discharge showing up on PACER

Hi everyone. This site is great for info. I have a question about how long a discharge should show up on PACER. (I'm a nervous one!)

The deadline to file objections was yesterday, 01/09/06. As of today, PACER is still showing "awaiting discharge". I am in PA. For those who have received discharges, how long before PACER reflected your discharge?

I'm still extremely nervous about the UST stepping in and requesting additional info since I'm married but filed separate. I've been praying every day that the discharge comes through with no problems.

    Thanks.

Your court clerk is probably really busy and has not received/processed the order to discharge. I would wait another day or so and then check. In our case, our last date for objections was 10/30/05. According to Pacer we were to expect our discharge around 11/8/05. We received our discharge 11/1/05/.

Thanks for the response. When you said PACER said to expect discharge what area is that in? I've been looking under "docket report" and "status".

It will vary based on how busy or not the court is. If you don't see anything in a week or 2, call the clerk and ask about it. They might just go ahead and enter it then. I did that, was discharged a little over 2 weeks after my objections deadline. From looking at Pacer, I know that the majority of cases filed a month before mine were still waiting for discharge...
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

In our case, our 60 days did not commence from the 341 meeting. It started the date the clerk entered our 341 info, which was 9/8/05. I thought it was odd, but I am thinking the trustee was slow in returning the paperwork to the clerk. Another odd thing is the only *document* I see from the trustee is the checksheet he checked off at our 341 meeting. No where do I see a Report of No Assets from the Trustee that other folks have mentioned. Is the Report mandatory?
