    Hearing today

    The hearing for the MTD/Convert is today at 2...wish me luck! We found an attorney we're really comfortble with, who filed an answer on Friday, and we're confident. All of our expenses are in line and provable, so we should be ok, according to the attorney. I'm nervous, but at least after this afternoon, we'll know where we stand. If we with, last day for objections is Jan. 27th...here's hoping, and praying!!!
    Filed CH7 - 10/13/05;
    341 Meetings: 11/28/05, 3/20/06, 12/4/07 (3d time's a charm!)
    Converted: 2/15/06 (to CH13), 10/15/07 (Back to CH7)
    DISCHARGED: 2/15/08

        What a funny guy...The attorney told me he's a really amiable person...very polite, so not a butthead, in other words...I hope that that's on my side today!

              That's easy...the military ingrained that into me! My attorney said she would do most of the talking, though, thank goodness!

                  How about, "your excellency"

                  I'm under the impression we'll just have to sit and listen. I'll have my kids with me, which is stressing me out, but no extra $$ for the sitter at this point, so I've told them many times, on pain of death, that they are to sit and be good...

                    That is not very nice BKfiler! It would only postpone the hearing and make them wait another month or 2. Better to get it over with!

                    Sending positive thoughts your way Coma...

                          HAHAHA...the UST called my attny. Either Ch 13, $940/mo for 36 mos. or $500/mo. for 60 months...not much difference!!!! She said we'll take our chances and fight. The judge may see it differently. If nothing else, she said we can ask to be continued until after the new IRS numbers come out.

                              It sounds like you found an attorney who is willing to fight for you, that is a good sign! And, you're right-the new #'s should be out soon... But from what I recall, your #'s were NOT out of line w/ the IRS #'s right?
