    Income during Bankruptcy

When you file your Chapter 7 and then go through the process, how are we supposed to declare any income made during this process. I am on 100% commission and need to know what would happen if I received a large commission during the process??

Generally, all monies earned (from employment or assets that are not part of the BK estate) after the filing date of your BK are yours.

I suppose if your commission was significantly large and the trustee thought it was enough to make an issue of, he might try to get it if the commission was technically "earned" before the filing date, but wasn't paid until after the filing date. But again, generally, monies earned after the date you file the BK, (in a chapter 7) are not part of the BK estate.
