trustee question
Husband and I filing chapter 7 jointly. trying to keep a boat worth between $3500.00 - $4000.00, we owe $600.00 on loan for boat. Attorney states we can probably keep boat by making payments to the trustee for the equity in the boat. My question is, does anyone know how long the trustee usually gives you to make the payments?? Like 6 months, 9 months, One year?? Thanks.
