I am in the same district. Just curious as to who your trustee was? Any issues?

I wasn't even sure his name, went back and looked on pacer and it was Myron N Terlecky, no problems with him, went in at 341, answered some questions, then like a pathetic person I checked pacer almost every other day waiting for something to be added (knowing that it would take a while to be discharged) nothing bad was added, and it was discharged, and 14 days later, closed! no problems at all.

                      Ready to file

We were intending to file before the October deadline, however, by some crazy chance, the attorney says our paperwork was received one day late. I know I sent it by UPS the day before the deadline, but the attorney said they would accept the same fee if we filed at didn't argue.

Anyway, he also suggested that we wait until we receive and spend our 2005 tax refund before filing. So, even though we were very anxious to get this started, we waited and spent our refund. Now I'm sending in all the updated paperwork and everything this week, but I have a few questions, I hope someone can help me with.

First, my husbands paycheck is being garnished, it's really taking a bite out of our finances. How soon will that be stopped? What do we have to wait for? Do we send the information the attorney and they send the paperwork to the creditor and it stops, or do we have to wait to go to court?

What is 341? How long does this whole process take? We are filing Chapter 7.

                      Thanks for your help.

Same here, waiting for the Trustee to take tax refund. We're to the point that we just want to yell "here take it and close our case"!
