I am happy, happy, happy. Just checked Pacer and I am discharged and closed today.

i've seen alot of these posts since joining, ya know ...the multiple exclamation points and expressions of happiness, etc. I don't understand, for me the whole process has been extremely sad and to be honest my discharge/close date will be, although a relief from a big emotional burden, probably one of the most sad days of my life. I'll be grateful to a federal court of the U.S. , but very humble and sad, disappointed in myself also. But I don't mean to rain on your parade, Happy Saint Patricks day and have a big green beer

I do not mean to imply that I am happy about any of this process. This has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life and it is not a thing I am going to brag about in any fashion. My happiness stems from having the angst over and the process complete and having the opportunity to make wiser choices and more educated choices in the future. So, while I don't drink and green beer really sounds yucky, I think instead I will enjoy a quite cup of coffee and some peace of mind that I can put some of the SH#@ behind me and get on with living like a human being again.
