Pacer will allow you to monitor your case. When your case posts on Pacer depends on the number of filings in your area. It was a godsend for most of us because we were able to find out why and when our cases were updated. In our case we knew we had an issue with the Trustee before we got the letter from her. This forewarning at least allowed us to do our homework and be prepared. You have to be careful with Pacer though as many of this forum have advised because you are charged $.08 per page - at least that is what it was when I was logging on last year - and if you look at cases decided by your trustee you could run up a large bill. I dont think they bill you until you have amassed $10 in charges. Our bill was $14 for the entire time I checked it.

When you use Pacer there will be little activaty on it until after the 341 meeting when you start waiting out the 60 objection period. Check it once a week before meeting and 2 times a week afterwards. You'll stay under the $10.00 amount for sure......
Be patient folks, sit down, breathe deeply, find a good book, and wait it out.................
We have all been there and done it....................

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Thats kinda what I was thinking.... I've already started cleaning up my credit report. So I'm not forced to do it while I should be rebuilding my credit. Instead of trying to get back to zero. When I sat down and looked at all 3 reports side by side there are vast differences then just going through truecredit (which I do for now) I have disputed 4 items and counting. Some items were repored twice. and some are just plain paid off and are still show balances. My advise get copies of all three and study them hard! One compnay may have the same the same item with different amounts.Originally posted by MinnymouthWhen you use Pacer there will be little activaty on it until after the 341 meeting when you start waiting out the 60 objection period.
