Can I talk to lawyer for my husband's individual BK

My husband has difficulty in making time to see a lawyer. As he is 80 miles away from me and has no car. (see story prev. post Husband needs to file CH 7 in PA) He is home every weekend. Late Saturday afternoon and goes back Sunday night, or early Monday morning. So, he is not home during working hours of attorneys. My goal is to see a lawyer, then attempt to file via full-service BK online. He has seen two different lawyers, last year. But, that was pre-October before the big change. So, would I be able to go as his proxy? I would just be getting information. (initial consult) I hate to sound cheap, but money is so tight.

I think a decent attorney would have no problems with that. You are married to the man after all. You would have to bring all of his information probably, like bills and whatnot. I don't think the attorney is going to give you a free consultation for someone else on a 'take your word for it' basis.
