From everything i've read.. the answer is yes. I hope so because I also plan on filing Chapter 7 very soon and just bought a new car (financed most of it).
Thanks for the reply. Have you heard of Bankruptcy.com? They help with the paper work to file chapter 7 for a $150.00 Fee. They say it is guaranteed. They say that a lawyer would charge 1600 for this. Does it sound to good to be true?

They do not do the same thing a lawyer does. My Guess is that they only prepare youy paperwork based on the information you give. So all they garuarntee is that the forms will be accurate based on the info you provide, but they are not going to answer your questions or give you advice about what you need to do or not do. It's more than likely a para-legal preparing your paperwork.
You can keep your car if it falls within your exemptions (incidently, I doubt that website will give you much help figuring out your exemptions)
