my husband needs to get his 6 month/60day payroll print out. he went to payroll dept. they told him they wouldn't do it because it would be too much of a hassle he doesn't want to push the issue. we can't afford for him to lose his job. is there anything else we can do.any advice would be great.

We were in the same sort of situation. We had most all of Hubby's pay stubs, but were still missing a few. Hubby asked in payroll if he could get copies. The gal was nice, but said it would depend on what he needed.Originally posted by mom of threemy husband needs to get his 6 month/60day payroll print out. he went to payroll dept. they told him they wouldn't do it because it would be too much of a hassle he doesn't want to push the issue. we can't afford for him to lose his job. is there anything else we can do.any advice would be great.
If we had needed the whole 6 months, there were 2 ways we could go. Payroll woulda contacted their contractor company to reproduce those. Or, the gal in Payroll could have assigned us a User ID and a Password and we could print them off at home. If it was just a few, the gal in the payroll office could do it. Turned out we only needed a couple to fill the gaps so they did it in house.
Maybe your Hubby's company sources out their payroll as well. If that's the case, then the company that does payroll for your Hubby's company is probably who would have to do it anyway. You could try contacting the payroll Contractor directly to see if they will do it for you. They may require authorization from their client, your Hubby's company. Then you'd just have to arrange that contact however best works for your Hubby. Maybe have the Contractor call the company with Hubby's request to get authorization. Or, maybe Hubby could tell the gal in Payroll all she needs to do is call the Contractor.
Maybe if they realize it's really not that much work, they'll go for it. That's if they use a Contractor and don't do the payroll in house.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
