I am getting ready to file ch 7, and I'm considering using an online site. What are your thoughts on debtoraid.com or legalhelpers.com? Also, will I have to list my engagement ring as an asset? It's really the only thing I have of value. It is listed on my insurance.

I found my current attorny at legalhelpers.com It is a great website - I recommend it. I am in the process of filing Chapt 7 as well & I don't have any assets of any value. You should put the ring on the form as an asset so that it WILL be protected. I can't imagine the ring being taken from you.
