need advice bad
I filed in october but my case was closed in december. I am having to refile, but now that my income tax check is coming i don't want to have to give it all up to the trustee I feel like since I paid my taxs all year That it is my money and I should be able to do with it as I wish. I also understand that I can't just buy anything I want. I can put it in my hose, auto, and etc but what else could I do I have 9k to spend and I am very confussed

Do you have any student loans to apply it too??? These are priority creditors.....
Unless you can do repairs on your home, auto, buy groceries, clothes, etc to cover the $9,000....... plan on the trustee getting some of it....
In fact he may go back and ask how much you got this year, and HOW YOU SPENT IT......
One expense would be hire an attorney......... also pay some on your mortgage.
Remember some cash is exempt if you have the exemptions available.....
Note: I'm sure the CREDITORS feel like since you used their money, some of that $9,000 should be given to them................Minny
