    Already obtained Credit Cards

Hi, I have obtained few credit cards throughout the years. I have intentially exaggerated my income while obtaining some of those credit cards throughout all this time. If I file for Chapter 7, will I get in trouble for fraud?

    Thanks

I wouldn't say categorically, NO. But,............ Not likely.

If you've had the CC's for a while and kept the payments current over a period of time before you got into financial trouble, it's not likely that income, or lack thereof, will even come up.

If you got a CC a couple years ago and the balance just climbing and climbing, unusual Cash Advances, or big expenditures for luxury items, with no life altering event, that might be a different story.
