    Which Box on Schedule C?

On Schedule C, you are supposed to check one of the two boxes indicating if you are going to claim exemptions under State or Federal. But which box is State and which box is Federal? I can't find the answer anywhere!! They make it so difficult.

It looks like from this website, if you want to claim Federal, you check box 522b1. If you're going to use State, you select box 522b2.

But I would verify that with other sources before proceeding.
