    Credit card purchases

I already have an attorney to help me in filing chapter 7 bankruptcy. He won't actually file the papers until after I have paid him for his fees (2 payments, last one being Mar 20). My question is, since I know I am going to file for bankruptcy, is it alright to go ahead and max out my Home Depot and Lowe's cards? I have about $800 left on the HOme Depot & maybe $200 or so on the Lowe's. So I wouldn't be making a purchase over $1000 for a single credit card. However, I have heard that you shouldn't use credit 90 days before filing. Any advice?

No it wouldn't. That is technically BK fraud.

Yeah that's what I thought. I'll go ahead and cut those cards into pieces!
