hi,
i'm glad i found this forum.
my accountant suggested that i consider ch 7. i had an initial consultation with an attorney that ran down income and debt questions and he said i would be a candidate.
i have a few questions for the group. (please forgive me, i'm sure they've been answered a thousand times but i haven't gotten quite acclimated.)
*i live in new york city and the attorney is going to charge me $2500 ($2M for him and $500 for the filing) any cheaper yet quality alternatives?
i've seen signs for $399 but small print says...doesn't include filing and typing fee.
*i'm actively seeking a six figure job...definitely trying to do a tapdance and time this out. what is the critical timepoint?
*since the job search is not going so well in nyc, i'm considering relocation. any pitfalls? or when can i get the all-clear sign to get the hell out of dodge and start a new life...if it comes to that.
thanks for your input!
