    341 meeting

Hi all haven't ask a question in awhile but my 341 meeting is the 27th of this month and my question is: If there had been any kind of problem with my paperwork would I hear something before the 341 meeting? As of right now I have not heard anything except from the US Trustee that I had not sent my wages for the 60 days to them. I did contact them and told them it was an oversight and they told me there was no problem since it was sent the next day. I even told them I would send it overnight and they told me not to spend the money just mail it regular mail which I did.
Other than that I have heard nothing and there is nothing in pacer that would be questionable to me. Does it seem to be going pretty smooth right now? Remember I did file pro se so I am kinda worrying some.

Generally they won't tell you anything until the 341 meeting. Even then, they might not tell you anything. Just be prepared / have all your tax returns, recent pay stubs, recent bank statements...all that kind of crap.

I sent my trustee my paystub print out. Should I get another one?

Don't worry about it. Just take everything with you to the meeting.

When I went to my 341 meeting (which was about 6 weeks after filing), my attorney wanted me to bring 1) any pay check stubs obtained since filing, 2) Copy of the tax returns, 3) copies of my latest checking account statements. Of course, you will need to take your drivers license and social security card with you as well.

I do not know if the trustee wanted these items, or just my attorney. I would assume she handed them over to the trustee but not for sure. Since your filing pro-se, it would be good to have them handy just in case.

When you go to your 341 meeting, you should try and get there early and ask the trustee assistant or clerk before the meeting if there are any notes on your case. I know they give them to attorneys, but not sure about pro-se filers. This will pretty much tell you if there are issues with your return.

Good luck with the meeting. It really isn't that bad, just causes one to be rather uptight about it. I was drilled about 10 minutes at the most. It seemed forever, but wasn't really.

It's better to be overprepared and have doubles, than not have something that may get requested.

First, just remember to bring EVERYTHING with you to the 341. As for an answer to your question... it depends on the district. I filed pro-se and did forget to submit the means test and sign another form but they sent me notices within days that these needed to be filed and gave dates that they had to be in by.
