Are they reviewing Chapter 7 cases to see if they should have really been Chapter 13 cases? I would assume, if your in a Chapter 13, there is no reason for an audit, but I'm sure some congressman might think there is.Originally posted by anonymuseMost regions are putting in forensic accountants since the new law requires that 1 in 250 cases be auditted.Chapter 13 Filed 4/03/06  341 Meeting Complete 5/11/06 :yes2:

Yes. My atty said that our local US trustee's office have 'borrowed' some staff from the FBI to review ch 7's. He said to not be suprised if the US trustee digs thru my case files, since I'm over the median income for my state.Originally posted by aa06a47Are they reviewing Chapter 7 cases to see if they should have really been Chapter 13 cases?Filed Ch 7: 02Jun06.......Credit after BK:
