Adobe PDF Fillable Federal Forms

I filed bankruptcy last year and was granted a discharge. Before
filling I consulted with a lawyer for 100 dollars who wanted another
800 to do the filing... not having the money for that, I filed myself.
It took me over a year to gather the needed information, decipher the
terminology, do my inventory, and finally fill out the forms, which I
did manually since I could not find forms that could be filled out on
my computer.
As a winter project I have taken the federal forms and compiled them
into a single fillable 49 page Acrobat PDF file. I collated them into
the order required for submission. This file has auto complete for
like fields though out the 49 pages and auto math computation for the
entire document. I also created a detailed 47 page example file. For
someone that has not filed yet it may not be obvious what an advantage
it would be having this file, but having shuffle forms and repeated
math calculations numerous times when I filed, I know this PDF form
would be a great aid to anyone considering filing. Email me if

Don't waste your money. The goverment site has the pdf fillable forms for FREE. Sure, it doesn't do the calculations, but I'm sure everyone on here can do simple math.

And when you use the government site, you'll know you'll have the latest and greatest forms (yes, there have been slight modifications since they were released).

I'd rather use Best Case's demo version--it prints demo all over it, but calculates everything and reuses the addresses over and over. And then use the government's FREE forms to fill it in when I'm done.

A first time poster was the 1st red flag for me.

"I filed last year" was the 2nd red flag. Excuse me, but things have changed quite a bit since then. And, as Anon said, even the new forms have been updated a bit since they were originally issued.

Reading thru the post, I began to wonder what the catch was. When I saw the link to the eBay website, I knew.

I read the rules when I signed up, but did not see the advertising restriction.... however in response to the replies:

My form, of course, is based on the latest federal forms and new requirements. Schedule B is extented from 3 to a more realistic and usefull 5pages; Schedule C extended from 1 to 7 pages, Schedule F from 3 to 5 pages. The forms you can get off the net are not collated and combined, do not tally the math for you over the entire filing, and do not have auto complete for like fields for the complete document. The advantages are clear. I was sincere in my attempt to assist filers when I created this form.

I guess the real objection here is having to pay for it. The corollary of NervousSC's comment ("How nice to post that for all of us to use, out of the goodness of his/her heart.") is that you would expect to pay for the advantages. But apparently not in this group. Of course, we all didn't end up here in this forum because of good business sense. I trying to change mine.......

A lot of us come here and answer questions--out of the goodness of his/her heart. I'll see someone stressed out at night over something, and even though I don't know the answer right off hand, I'll research it and find old posts or new information to help them through. There's newbies here and people well into the end of their Ch 13's and we all help out, not expecting anything in return.

Solicitations are not welcome, I got into debt using poor judgment.....I'm not going to go throw 29.99 on something that I KNOW I can get for free and knowing that the wonderful people on this forum are WILLING to help me fill out any forms, compute any calculations, FOR FREE....YES....YOU GUESSED IT......OUT OF THE GOODNES OF THEIR HEARTS.
