    Case Closed!!

    As of 06/21/06 I no longer legally owe money to Capital One,First National Bank of Omaha, or Hyundai Motor Finance Co. (though I will continue to pay HMFC to keep my car). Finally!!!! Now on to trying to rebuild my credit. It won't be easy since my scores are now all in the low 500s since the bk.

    Good God I wish I could fall asleep! But while I was lying there trying to fall asleep something popped into my mind. I don't know how I managed it but I forgot the creditor that I owed the largest amount to... CitiFinancial. How in the world could I forget them?!?!?!

      Congrats on your case closure.

      Don't lose any more sleep. If they are still pursueing you, contact them and give them your case number. Dispute everything on your credit report. All debts besides the reaffirmed car loan are now legally uncollectable.
