    FAMH and SF are right - your lawyer sounds right on top of things - excellent choice of lawyers on your part!

    Since you have no creditor objections filed, that means your lawyer can deal with your trustee directly to resolve any lingering issues - makes things more straightforward. We received an official letter in the mail from our trustee lodging his two formal objections to our Ch 13 plan. If your trustee decides to make her objections official, you'll know about it quickly, and your lawyer will be notified officially as well. Hang in there - here's hoping your trustee's negative comments won't progress past the verbal stage. We're here for you - come back for support and to vent frustration any time.
    I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
    10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
    01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
    06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
    Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

      Since no creditors have objected yet, they still have 60 days after the 341 meeting to do so, I have a feeling your attorney will work things out with the trustee. Most trustee's like to bark, but as your attorney said, they don't necessarily bite. I think they hate going in front of the judge as much as we do. You'll be fine, and it appears your lawyer is on top of things and is working for you. I went through two objections to confirmation (chapter 13 plan) and I will say, my lawyer seemed on top of things, and that always made me feel things will be OK. I truley believe now that about 90% of the BK is how good of lawyer a person has.
      Chapter 13 Filed 4/03/06 :blink: 341 Meeting Complete 5/11/06 :yes2:
      Plan Confirmation 6/16/06 :yahoo:
      Discharged: 1/5/2010 :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

        That is so true!

        Could you imagine OJ Simpson or some of the other high profile cases with a public defender?

        If anyone ever gets in trouble with the law, it's definitely the one with the better lawyer that will prevail, but who has thousands or tens of thousands to spend on a lawyer for some kind of criminal case?
