I receive VA Compensation and Pension at the 100% rate for service-connected disability. Is this included in the Means test? I also receive Social Security Disability and have been told that it is not to be included.

You may want to get legal advice on this, but I think it's all income except for Social Security that gets calculated.Originally posted by NTheDogHouseI receive VA Compensation and Pension at the 100% rate for service-connected disability. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice for all of us.
Here's the means test exclusion form to be used to file Ch 7 if you are a disabled veteran - http://www.uscourts.gov/rules/Revise...B22A101105.pdf . Note the first section "Part I: Exclusion for Disabled Veterans".
Like FAHM says, according to http://bankruptcy-law.freeadvice.com...l_security.htm , Social Security is NOT included as income in the CMI calculations on the means test.
Hope this helps.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
