Who is Bass & Associates??

I know that people have posted about Bass & Associates but who are they? Today on pacer they requested to be put on the Master Mailing list?? They never specified anything that they wanted, all we ever got from the company that they are representing is like plaster, paint, ect.... Nothing like household appliances or anything like that.

We were discharged on 5-15-06 and the trustee & US trustee both signed the official papers and were ordered to distrubute our income tax to 1. The Trustee and 2. to MBNA. MBNA was the ONLY creditor that filed to recieve the money from our CH7/Asset case. Now, what??? Will this hold up our closing date on our BK?

Bass & Associates basically asked to added to your mailing list. Apparently one of your creditors likely has a secured interest on purchased items that was part of your credit card agreement with said creditor.

Them asking to be included onthe mailing list is nothing to worry about. You will likely receive a letter from them in the mail soon asking for information. They are trying to scare you a little into paying up on that particular debt. They will never REQUEST you pay, they cannot do that. They may even go as far as saying they want to come and get the stuff. Just ignore them and the bottom feeding scumsuckers will just move on to another unlucky party.

It is so sad that they do this to people who have filed BK. We were in a major bind and did what had to be done and low and behold, B&A comes along...
