is this even legal?
Here it is:
been out of the apartment for at least 30 days...the apartment has told me and its even in their rules and regulations that they would not accept anything less then full payment... so I paid them $1000 thinking that when they accepted this check it was final payment and to what they was asking for...
months later, I just ran my credit report to find a collection from them in
the amount of $210...
the apartment has never once sent me anything regarding this...after all
when they accepted my check that was final payment because they would not accept anything less then full payment...
I notice a collection agency has this, not once have they even
contacted me...so im thinking I am caught up when i paid
them the $1000, they even said so... now to find out
they have reported me, and no one has even bothered to contact me
about this.
