Time has run out and I must surrender my car. I prefer to take it to Wachovia instead of them coming to my house.
The bank rep said to take it to the bank. I asked if they would give me some sort of statement saying they indeed did receive it and what condition it is in.
The rep said in my state the bank is not obligated to do that.
I just don't feel comfortable surrendering it, whether I take it in or they pick it up, without written confirmation.
I have 2 days to turn it in. I was hoping to go down to see my mom one more time before I surrender it. Would I be in any legal trouble if I didn't turn it in for 2 more weeks?
