Elan Financial - Us Bank???

I got a strange call day before yesterday from someone claiming to be an attorney for US Bank Credit card. I don't HAVE a US bank Credit card, so she put me on hold for a couple of secs, came back and said Elan Financial? I said yes. So, she said they wanted their $6,000+, I said, we're filing bankruptcy, but still haven't filed. Gave attorney info, she looked everything up online on my attorney's website and that was the end of that phone conversation.

I just thought it was strange, she was kinda rough up until I told her were filing bk (which Elan has known for 2 months - she seemed surprised LOL), but right after that, she was very nice.

We hired our attny and I thought we would file in a short amount of time. So I told Creditors as they called we were gonna file. Gave 'em our attny's contact info and everything.

Couple of months go by. We don't file. Meanwhile, we had the Landlord from Hell and needed to move so the attny waited. Our attny wanted us to be able to rent a place and then establish new expenses before filing.

Creditors start calling again. One "Lady" even said, "You need to tell your attny to get off his butt and get your Case filed!"
