Wellll, it looks as though Bofa has finally sent me to collections, after only three months. Ive been getting calls from a guy who can barely speak English, caller Id says Ontario, Canada. His name sounds like Juan Valdez I swear!! I checked out whocalledus and some people have had calls, but nobody knows WHO they are. One person said a lady said it was TCI.
Anyone know? Is there a TCI of Toronto???
So are the credit gods outsourcing our debt collection now ?

P.S. They will still need legal representation to operate here in the U.S. so you should still be able to sue them and TAKE THEIR MONEY for FDCPA violations (which, don't know about you, but that's ALL I care about when it comes to debt collectors...).

There's a TCI Information Retrieval Solutions that is doing some of their work in Ontario, Canada - http://www.tcicredit.com/ . Don't see that they are involved in collections though - looks like they are doing credit checks and loan approvals

However, there is a Total Credit Recovery collections agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - http://www.totalcrediting.com/about/index.html . Think this might be your group that is calling?

I googled and came up with nothing, glad you guys could!
I think its #2 you mentioned. I think its nuts a CANADIAN company is trying to collect an American debt. I suppose soon we will have someone in Sri Lanka calling. Un real.
Anyhow, Juan Valdez didnt call today. I *should* be filing within the next week so I will answer and tell them my case number then!!
