For anyone who may have had this experience, plz let me know.
I was staying at my parents place over the weekend watching their house for them while they were away. I live about 20 mins away from them. For the record, Im 2 months behind on my car and it is under reposession by the lender (NMAC) and my cellphone # NMAC had does not work anymore cause it got turned off, however I gave them a new #. Anyway, at 1:30 AM last night a message was left on my parents voicemail (which they then checked when they called the next morning). My dad and I have the same name so we are kinda at a loss here, but the message addressed by name, then, and I quote "I'm calling about the car. I'm sick of you telling my guys at the shop to **** off hard. I don't know what kind of tough guy you think you are but I will come over there and knock you the **** out then skull **** you in front of your stupid parents you understand?" then slammed the phone down.
Could this possibly be a repo guy gone too far or are we just the victim of a badly timed prank call? I have only received one phone call from a guy that tried to repo my car and that was a month before my phone was turned off. My phone has now been off another month and I nor my parents have received any calls from repo men, nor have I ever told anyone to "**** off hard". Any help or advice would be appreciated!
p.s. I called Nissan and they told me they couldn't tell me who the repo company they were using was but they would call the contractor and let them know (big whoop).
