Anyone know how to "file" or claim a "claim of exemption" on a Bank Levy? It is my understanding that child support PAID to me is not subject to a bank levey as well as only 10% of my income is subject, said income is alimony. Thanks for your help!

Usually, the writ of execution will have instructions on how to go about claiming the exemption. But it usually entails going to the court from which the writ was issued and filling out some paperwork. -
Go to your courts website and look through their forms. See if they have an affidavit that is used for the exemption. Here in Nevada we just file the affidavit which is very simple. It may be the same there for you. Just an idea.
Also, I'm not sure if it would do any good, but you may want to drop a copy of the form off at your bank.Comment
