Junk Debt Buyers..ok I AM really

confused now.

" Junk debt buyers pretty much sit back and wait to see some new activity on your credit report-- like buying a new car, or a new mortgage, or a new job-- and then they come after you."

How can that happen?

I have two new(?) hits on my CR. Not new but just trying to recover more from me........these two are on my CR twice, both reporting the same amount(s) twice.

So how do I get rid of them? Neither has contacted me so it was a surprise to me when I pulled my 3 reports to see a new collector.
Now after mortgage company pulled CR there are two.

I am SO weary of this.........and after nearly FIVE years of paying....closed and discharged.
Grrrrrrrrr

Can someone help me out, please?

Send a copy of your discharge to the credit reporting agencies. Then follow up to make sure they are removed.

Unfortunatly, the CU's are loosley regulated if at all. All three major ones don't always agree. You play hell with them to do anything in your favor. They would rather believe the bad than the good. However, by all means 'green card' every important letter. 'Hub
