authorized credit card user and charge off

I'm the authorized credit card users of my wife's 4 credit cards, and last year we encountered financial difficulty, but this year she paid off all debts, but 2 charge offs was shown on my credit report in EQ but not Transunion and EP on May, 2008, can I dispute that? how to do this? any input is great appreciate. I disputed all 4 authorized card last years, and Transunion and EP removed all 4 accounts from my credit report, but EQ only removed 2, that's why the other 2 showed chargg-off now, can I dispute these two? Since I was the authorized user, not co-signer, am I right? THX

You are right - an authorized user cannot be held responsible for any debts on the card and cannot be held responsible for non-payment.

All three credit agencies have online dispute mechanisms - log on to each of the three credit agency websites and find them. Start with online and move to letter writing if any of them give you a problem.

There are multiple sites on the internet that will walk you through the dispute process and give you forms to use. Do a search online using "dispute incorrect credit report" - best of luck to you!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

We are going through the same thing. My wife was an authorized user of one of my cards, and it was showing up as 120+ days past due on her Transunion and Equifax reoprts. We disputed it, Transunion actually took the whole line off her report, and Equifax is investigating right now. I expected an "IIB" on these but it would be nice if they were removed entirely!
