When do you tell them you're filing bk?

WHen do you tell them you are filing bk? We will be putting a retainer down for the lawyer next week but not able to pay him in full til Nov. and he doesn't file the bk till he is paid. (We are doing a ch 7.)

Once he is retained you can direct callers to him.

They can still call you until he files, but generally it will cut down on calls.
