I just had a creditor call. I explained they were included in our 13 filing. They wanted to know the atty's name/number. Didn't have it with me, but said I would give them the case number. They said the case number wouldn't keep them from calling. So, I said then you will be in violation of federal law. The woman replied, no, you are in violation of federal law by not paying your bills and then promptly hung up. Had to chuckle.

I guess they really do not instruct these collections agents about bankruptcy! Seems like quite a few like to call after the filing

I had a collector from National Enterprise Systems call me about a debt that is included in my plan, and he had the nerve to say, "bankruptcy will not protect you and I will get my money!"
