    BigJohn, Absolutely! Goingdown has the correct approach. On the other hand, if you want to exercise your rights under federal (FDCPA) and state laws, at least try to talk to them to get an address to send a DV or cease&desist communications.

      I admit I'm not real quick on my feet so to speak but i didn't confirm nor deny the information for her, but maybe my actions gave it away. After I got off the phone is when I figured it was probably a trick. I wouldn't answer the phone but she calls my work receptionist and they transfer the call to me, if i don't answer she calls right back, on the third attempt i decided i better pick up. I am part time self employed and i'm trying to sell some tools before i file which isn't going well at all. I had an ad out for 3 weeks and only got 1 call so far. maybe i should put the stuff on ebay and take whatever it brings.
