    Payday loans

I converted chapter 13 to a chapter 7 in October. It was discharged December,2008. I included the payday loans with the bankruptcy. I am now getting calls from sonic cashnet usa. I am being threatened and harassed. What are my options who can I talk to and what can I do.

If you used a lawyer, let him know, as he should be able to make that go away rather quickly.

If not, you need to send them a copy of the discharge paperwork. It may also be helpful to show a copy of the matrix with the original creditor listed. You can also put a letter in there telling them that this is illegal, and that any further attempts to collect on the discharged debt could result in legal action.
Filed 8/08 - Discharged 11/08! Not tracking FICO.
    Pre-Bankruptcy Net Worth: -$72,000... Today's net worth: $142,000.
If your FICO score just went higher than your net worth, and you are happy about this, you might have a financial problem!

Tell them to go you know what themselves. Your discharge is gold.

Oh goody, I've got a payday loan from CashNetUsa included in my chapter 7. Look what I get to look forward to. They've already had multiple collection agencies working the debt at the same time. Nothing like hanging up with one debt collector only to have another call within the hour to inquire about the same debt.
