several members, have suggested that i recieve a paper check, vs a bank deposit, to prevent my bank account from being frozen.... why would a creditor go after your bank account instead of going after the money source?..( retirement income or employer)

If somebody should get a court order without you knowing it, you might realize what has been done when you go to withdraw funds from your bank account.
